Listed building consent approved for Thatcham blue plaque
Listed building content for Thatcham’s next blue plaque has been granted.
The plaque will be for the building that now houses Cedar Dental Care, located at Bradley Moore House, on Bath Road.
Constructed in 1744, the building was a doctor’s surgery from 1909 and the first in Thatcham to offer NHS services.
The plaque will not be unveiled in time for Thatcham Festival, but at a later date to be confirmed.
It will be made of durable polyurethane and 40cm round.
The plaque will be placed 290cm high on the western most edge of the southern façade.
Thatcham Town Council, the applicant, has said it has received full permission from the freeholders and tenants.
